I am a professional horse trainer. I have trained, raised and shown horses my entire life. I have been training professionally for the last 12 years and been giving riding lessons for just as long. I have Bachelor of Science in Equestrian Studies with a minor in business. For the last six years, I have been training and running race horses. It has been an exciting endeavor and has taken me to several different states. I have owned, trained and raced some amazing horses.

My other areas of training include:

  • starting young horses under saddle
  • refreshing older horses
  • problematic horses
  • dressage
  • jumping
  • ranchwork
  • race training (from starting under saddle to running on the track)
  • pleasure
  • show and
  • riding lessons on all the above mentioned

I am writing for Suite 101 because I am passionate about horses and all the issues involved with them. I want to educate my readers on topics associated with all walks of life when it comes to horses. My articles are all based on experiences I have had in the horse industry.
